Independent Feasibility Study

"Our evaluation found the AEROS Oil Spill Recovery System to be unique as the only airborne recovery system being developed today.

We feel it has tremendous potential and offers an advanced oil spill recovery capability unlike any other system. The rapid deployment capability makes this the most effective technology available for combating oil spills.

In conclusion, based on all the information reviewed as part of this study and a comprehensive analysis of the AEROS system, the design proposed appears technically and operationally feasible to achieve rapid deployment and on-site collection and separation of major oil spills."

- Mark Schubert, P.Eng., President & CEO
Trident Engineering Ltd., Houston, TX

"(With conventional systems) ... for a 10,000 tonnes (oil) spill, 200,000 tonnes of liquid (95% water) must be transported from the site of the spill to the oil treatment location! One of the key features of the AEROS System is that it provides the means of removing this water at the site of the spill, vastly increasing the amount of oil that can be retrieved and eliminating the storage and transportation bottlenecks that would otherwise occur."

Extract from "Overview Section" of a technical feasibility report prepared by Cyclotech Ltd., U.K., published as part of NRC/IRAP Project 322391, entitled "AEROS Airborne Robotic Oil Spill Recovery System", funded by the Canadian Government / National Research Council.

INDEPENDENT ASSESSMENTS of AEROS

"We can advise you that the two companies in reference, Trident and Cyclotech, are internationally considered to be experts in their respective fields … We consider that these companies are highly qualified to do the feasibility study and appraisal of the AEROS Robotic Oil Spill Recovery System. We at KREBS are very much looking forward to our participation in the AEROS Project, which we see as a very appropriate and exciting new application of our technology."

Douglas Schlepp, President & CEO, KREBS Engineers Group, Tucson, Arizona. [Note: KREBS has been the world's leader for 50 years in the design and manufacture of liquid-solid and liquid-liquid separator systems for the mining industry and the petroleum industry].

"... As Manager of Norwich Union Insurance Company and President of Eastern Marine Underwriters Ltd, I am sure that your audience, which will include representatives of the British and American marine underwriting communities, will be truly captivated by the potential impact of (GRG) AEROS on our industry."

Jerry Giroux, President, The Canadian Board of Marine Underwriters. [Referring to GRG's presentation at the 78th semi-annual meeting of the Canadian Board of Marine Underwriters, held in Whistler, B.C.-350 delegates from the USA, Canada, and the U.K.]

"... the AEROS System is both technically feasible and operationally viable. "

Michael Muirhead, P.Eng., President & CEO of Subsea Technology Ltd., of Victoria, B.C.

"The AEROS Airborne Robotic Oil Spill Recovery System incorporates state-of-the-art oil/water separation technology which delivers a performance level significantly exceeding that of any existing technology, independent of the advantages of an airborne response."

Quote excerpted from the Conclusions section of a technical publication entitled: "Impact of Sea State on System Performance of the AEROS Airborne Robotic Oil Spill Recovery System" by Jack Wilson (deceased 2005), B.Sc., President/CEO of the North American Research Institute "NARI", Michael Muirhead, P.Eng., CEO of Subsea Technology Ltd., David Woodcock, P.Eng., and Miles Fenton, designer of subsea vehicles.

"I am most intrigued with the simplicity and apparent effectiveness of the on-board oil/water separator. The concept of discharging essentially 100% oil from a high volume weir skimmer operating in a variety of slick thicknesses, represents a technology that is not currently available."

Larry Pintler, Sales Manager, Oil Spill Management Group, CHEMPRO-A Burlington Environmental Company. Note: Mr. Pintler is currently the senior oil spill manager with SEACOR-SMIT Group
