Executive Biography – October, 2005

Mr. Davis has excellent credentials and experience to be a key Member of the Board of Directors of the GRG parent company. The next GRG Board of Directors will most likely elect Mr. Davis to the position of President & CEO for the next stage of development of GRG.
  • Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Queens University (1955), and has completed numerous post-graduate courses in business and computer science from General Electric, IBM and Intel.
  • Mr. Davis brings 50 years of technical and business experience in the design and implementation of new businesses in the broadcast, cable television, telecommunications and proprietary software industries, holding senior positions with both medium and large enterprises.
  • Mr. Davis is President & CEO of H.K. Davis & Associates Limited, an engineering and business consulting company which has been in operation since 1964.
  • Mr. Davis recieved the "Award of Merit" from the Canadian Consulting Engineers Group, and the "Certificate of Merit" from the Corporate Higher Education Forum.
  • For many years, Mr. Davis served as President & CEO of two University-owned corporations that specialize in the establishment and growth of start-up ventures arising out of University-sponsored R&D. In that capacity, he established a number of successful start-up companies that continue to grow in their respective communities.
  • One of these corporations was the Innovation & Technology Center of the University of Victoria (ITC-UVIC). During his tenure at ITC-UVIC, Mr. Davis assisted GRG to obtain numerous financial grants from the National Research Council of Canada (“NRC”) to develop computer simulation models of the AEROS System at UVIC, as well as an NRC grant for Mr. Sullivan to give an international technology symposium about GRG/AEROS in Malaysia which was jointly sponsored by NRC and "SIRIM" (the NRC counterpart in Malaysia). This conference was very successful and resulted in the Malaysian government offering to sponsor one of the 1st GRG bases.
  • Mr. Davis is a founder and senior executive of LearningWise Corp., which received approval from the B.C. Government to start a new national University in Canada, under the name "University Canada West"; Classes will commence in September 2005.
  • Mr. Davis is also an active executive of Advanced Interactive Canada Inc., a research and development company focussed on inventing, patenting and licensing technologies in the telecommunications and computer industries.
  • Mr. Davis also assists new start-up companies & serves on the Boards of 3 such companies.
  • Mr. Davis is an active member of numerous technical societies and industry committees.
