As President and CEO of one of Western Canada's largest wood re-manufacturing companies, Eli turned around a near bankrupt company and made it into a highly profitable, world-class operation selling its products to many countries around the world.

Eli was responsible for the firm's operations management, logistics, and quality improvement practice in Western Canada. In addition, Eli led Ernst & Young's national TQM development and implementation program.
Functional Experience
- Facilitated the development and implementation of strategic plan for a number of companies in the manufacturing, distribution, and sports sector
- Assisted a number of companies in a variety of industries achieve profitable growth using a proprietary methodology developed by AMS
- Assisted companies in manufacturing and distribution secure financing from financial institutions
- Developed business plans for companies engaged in manufacturing, software development, retail, and distribution
- Assisted a number of companies implement Total Quality Management and LEAN programs
- Developed and implemented quality management systems for a number of manufacturing firms including six-sigma and statistical process control

- Conducted a logistics audit for a large distribution warehouse. The audit identified cost savings opportunities to the tune of millions of dollars. The approach used the Net Present Value (NPV) model to quantify the savings
- Developed and implemented a number of participative management programs for retailers and manufacturers. These included employee involvement, problem-solving processes, problem solving tools, and quality circles
